Power BI Consultant

As a true wizard of data visualization/analytics & a Power BI specialist (Belgium, The Netherlands or Estonia) you will be responsible for weaving magic through data, create intuitive visualizations and empowering our clients to make data-driven decisions. As a Power BI Consultant you will have the opportunity to participate in Power BI projects from start to finish. As you evolve in your role you will work on projects not only as a developer, but also as a designer, architect, or even as a coach.

The following is a general overview of what you can expect, the rest of your job content is for you to fill in:

• Analysis of the needs and requirements in BI Context (through interviews and workshops with end users, product owners)

• Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models

• Creating actionable dashboards & visualizing data in a clear, accurate and user-friendly way

• Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI

• SQL querying for best results, use of filters and graphs for better understanding of data

• Create ‘customize charts’ and custom calculations as per requirements

• Support of end users in the validation and use of the dashboard.

• On the job coaching of end-users, report-developers, …

This is where you recognize yourself:

• We don't need to explain to you anymore how Power BI works, and you have experience in developing BI solutions using MS Power BI

• Experience in DAX

• Experience in M-query

• Experience in SQL

• Certified in Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL300)

• Experience in Star Schema, Kimball modeling and bus matrices

• Knowledge of data engineering, data warehousing and general view of the Azure Data Platform

• Understanding business requirements and being able to be the bridge between IT and business

• Experience in process modeling (BPMN)

• You enjoy creating creative dashboards

• Eager to learn new technologies

• Team player is your middle name

• You are very good at translating what customers need

• Knowledge of other BI tools is definitely a plus

• You have a Bachelor or Master's degree in Science, IT, Computing or equivalent by experience

• Fluent in English is a must & you are fluent in either Dutch or French. Trilingual? Extra box to tick
