Job description
As an Information Management Consultant (or Manager, depending on your experience), you help organizations unlock the value of their data. You combine business insight with functional and technical expertise to guide clients on their journey toward trusted, well-managed, and business-ready information.
Your projects will range from quick scans, proof-of-concepts, and tool evaluations to long-term transformation programs in data governance, metadata management, and data quality. You act as the link between business and technology, ensuring clients can rely on accurate, consistent, and secure data to make better decisions.
What you’ll do
Support organizations in shaping and implementing their information management strategy.
Translate governance principles into practical solutions across data quality, metadata, master & reference data, privacy, and security.
Analyze complex data challenges and design pragmatic, value-driven solutions.
Guide tool selection and implementation, or support as an advanced end-user in solutions for metadata management, data quality, master data, or governance.
Contribute to assessments, workshops, and roadmaps that help clients mature in their data management journey.
(For senior consultants) engage in business development and thought leadership initiatives.
Job requirements
What you bring
Experience (medior to senior) in one or more domains of information management: data governance, data quality, data architecture, data modeling, metadata, master/reference data, privacy & security, BI & analytics.
Understanding of modern data governance principles, data lineage, and best practices.
Analytical mindset: able to identify gaps and opportunities in complex data scenarios.
Problem-solving attitude with a focus on business value and user adoption.
Excellent communication and presentation skills: able to make complex ideas accessible to different audiences.
Fluent English and Dutch are required. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
Nice to have
Familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK or other data management frameworks.
Experience across multiple data management disciplines.
Involvement in tool selection, implementation, or advanced end-user experience.
Experience with or strong interest in working in Microsoft data environments (e.g. Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Purview, Power BI, Fabric).
