Job description
As a Data Governance Consultant or Manager (depending on your experience) you combine your business knowledge, functional and technical skills to support our customers in their data management and data governance journey. You take on projects of varying complexity – depending on your knowledge, experience, and ambition - ranging from short term assessments, proof-of-concepts and scoping studies, over longer-term tailored Data Governance initiatives and solution implementations in the field of Data Governance, Metadata Management and/or Data Quality. You guide and support our customers in their Data Governance & Data Management needs.
Job requirements
Your background:
- You have obtained a 1st or extensive experience in one of the following data management disciplines: data governance, data quality, data architecture, data modeling, metadata management, reference & master data, privacy & security, BI & data science
- Data management and governance knowledge: you understand data governance principles, policies, and best practices. You are familiar with data quality, data lineage and metadata management
- Critical thinking: ability to analyze complex data scenarios and identify gaps or issues
- Problem solving: address data-related challenges and propose effective solutions
Considered as an asset:
- Knowledge of the DAMA-DMBOK;
- Expertise in more than one of the mentioned data management disciplines;
- For senior consultants: participated in business development activities and proposal writing;
- Involvement in tool selection OR experience working as a key/end-user in a tool for one or more of the following: metadata management, data quality management, data governance management, master/reference data management, data modelling.
- You combine excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
- You are at least bilingual: English and Dutch or French.
